What can I expect?

All of our staff are finger-printed, and all our safety standards will be applied during the week. In addition, Forest Home staff is trained in CPR and first aid. We will feature a first aid station on-site as well.

Why the cost?

In the past, Resonate Summer Camps have been lower cost because they were a half-day and volunteer led. We believe the benefit of an all-day camp, run by professionals, will have a bigger impact on students and families. This is why we partner with Forest Home to bring an "away from home" camp experience to our cities. In comparison, most all-day camps are more costly, and Resonate is subsidizing a portion of the camp. The fee that you pay covers Forest Home's cost, who bring their own staff and equipment. If cost is an issue we encourage you to apply for a scholarship!

What should my student bring?

Children will need to bring lunch, water bottle, towel, sunscreen, bathing suit, change of clothes (just in case!), shoes that can get wet (not flip-flops, but sandals with heel straps are okay), and Bible (if your child has one).

What NOT to bring: toys, cell phone, MP3 players or any valuable items

Can I pick up or drop off my child early or late?

We discourage all early or late pick-up and drop off because it negatively impacts your camper's experience as well as the experiences of other campers in their group. However, we do understand that emergencies occur. let us know as soon as you can if something occurs which will impact your camper's schedule, ideally 24 hours before. We cannot accommodate early pickup between 3:15-4pm, as the support staff will be preparing for the end of the day. Thank you for your understanding.

How can I help?

1. Please consider donating snacks, water or scholarships for those who would not normally be able to afford a camp like this one.

2. We would love to have volunteers!  Come for a whole day, or serve a shift, 8am-noon or noon to 5pm.

3. Forest Home is able to bring staff and equipment to keep our costs reasonable. They rely on Resonate to host their staff, either for housing or for meals.

4. Come be a part of our Friday Celebration and meet the other families and staff with whom your student has interacted throughout the week.
