The Missional Community Administrative Assistant has a primary responsibility to provide advanced administrative planning and execution for the Discipleship Ministry at Resonate Church. This role is to create systems and processes that turn vision into reality on a consistent basis.


The Missional Community Administrative Assistant must be:

Organizational Leadership

  • Oversees and develops systems that enroll people into MC’s and other discipleship formation events
  • Innovates systems to measure and track spiritual growth, next steps, and spiritual health of disciples
  • Maintains and manages calendar for all discipleship events and trainings in collaboration with all other ministries
  • Recruit, train, and empower serve staff to oversee the execution of MC and discipleship systems
  • Oversees the Discipleship Ministry’s budget, including the tracking, reconciling, and reimbursing of receipts


Event Administration and Planning

  • Plans, organizes, and coordinates special events and leadership trainings for discipleship
  • Supporting the discipleship team with planning events and execution as needed
  • Assists with meeting preparation through the production of documents, handouts, reports, meals, reminders, etc.
  • Prepares visual support for trainings and presentations via keynote, handouts, etc.
  • Recruits and organizes teams for event execution as needed


Administrative Duties

  • Serves as a gatekeeper for the Discipleship Pastor to create margins for excellence in vision, coaching, and leadership development
  • Proactive in anticipating needs of the Discipleship Pastor and Discipleship Ministry
  • Support the discipleship team administratively as needed
  • Handles confidential and sensitive information
  • Manages the scheduling of meetings, events, and appointments on professional and personal calendars of Discipleship Pastor and Discipleship Ministry
  • Answers calls, handles queries, and returns all calls as directed
  • Screens emails and addresses or redirects important emails
  • Drafts written responses and prepares correspondence on the Discipleship Pastor’s behalf
  • Acts as a liaison with other departments/ministries



  • 40+ hours per week (full time)

  • Salary - commensurate with experience
