JOIN 18|22

18|22 is a community for college-aged adults (18-22 years old) that is forged by and focused on Jesus. Together, we will spend time in the Bible, take an honest look at our faith, and encourage each other to take our next steps as disciples of Jesus.

JULY 21-24

18|22 College Retreat

18|22 is heading to Rock-N-Water this summer for a few days away together in nature! It will be a time to slow down, enjoy the outdoors, and spend intentional time in community. We’ll be camping, hiking, swimming, and white water rafting during the day, and sharing meals and conversations together in the evenings.

During our time there, we’ll also be walking through the Bible, looking at the big story of Scripture from beginning to end. Together we’ll explore how the entire story of the Bible points to God’s desire to dwell with His people, from creation, to redemption through Jesus, and ultimately to the restoration of all things.

Why do we need people from ages of 18-22?

Did you know that 2/3rds of young adults from the ages of 18-22 drop out of the local church after graduating high school?

18:22 exists to provide college aged adults with a community and a local church body in this crucial time of life where they are struggling to make their faith their own.

What college is 18|22 affiliated with?

We are not affiliated with any specific college! 18|22 is NOT a campus ministry, and you DO NOT have to attend college in order to attend 18|22. We are a part of the local church and seek to help college-aged adults get established in the local church as a necessary part of their faith. 18|22 exists upon the conviction that the local church is God’s solution to the world’s problems through gospel transformation.

What can I expect when I show up?

Our ministry is filled with a bunch of college-aged folks who are pretty diverse, very welcoming, and a healthy dose of weird too! :) We are all in different places in our walk with Jesus, but we all want to know Him more, and want our lives and decisions to look different because of Him. We will have goofy fun together, worship the Lord through music, dive into Scripture, and take seriously what it means to actually live as a disciple of Jesus.
