3 YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN
This Bible Reading Plan is your invitation to hear, with deeper clarity, the voice of the One who loves you.
Every time you listen with great attentiveness to the voice that calls you the Beloved, you will discover within yourself a desire to hear that voice longer and more deeply. It is like discovering a well in the desert. Once you have touched wet ground, you want to dig deeper.

3 STEPS TO STUDY THE BIBLE
STEP 1 - READ
This may seem obvious, yet too many readers are nothing but browsers. We flip pages of the Bible the way we flip through our Instagram feed. But the Bible is too beautiful and too deep to grasp if we just browse. It is worth conscious, concentrated effort. So our plan is to read books of the Bible over and over. The more we linger in these passages, the more beautiful they will become.
STEP 2 - WRITE
Take a moment to freely write anything that God might say to you in your quiet time as you read and reflect. By putting pen to paper you will move beyond a mere cursory reading and enter a journey of discovering the refreshing and beautiful voice of God as He speaks to you through His Word.
Even if you feel like what you have to write down is not very good, you can’t build on something you don’t have. So start where you are, even with elementary things. Write down whatever words or thoughts come to you as you read. You could even just copy words from the Bible into your journal. The process of writing what you discover will help you to come back and remember what God Himself was saying to you.

STEP 3 - REFLECT
Take some time to think about what you’ve seen. Allowing the Word of God to filter and percolate through your mind and into your life will inevitably be powerful and transforming.
ASK YOURSELF...
What is this passage telling me about God?
What is this passage telling me about myself?
What does this teach me about the Gospel?
What is God saying to me?
What do I need to do on the basis of what I’m reading here?
For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven
and do not return there but water the earth,
making it bring forth and sprout,
giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater,
so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth;
it shall not return to me empty,
but it shall accomplish that which I purpose,
and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.
