HOURS: 25 hours weekly, Nonexempt

OVERSEES: Fremont RESkids Students and Serve Staff

MEMBER OF TEAMS: Oakland Campus and RESkids Ministry

WORKS CLOSELY WITH: Oakland Campus Pastor, RESkids Minister and Central RESkids Serve Staff Leads

As staff of Resonate Church we are committed to being:

• Culture – We use the Resonate Culture Guide as the basis for ourselves and our team objectives.  Our desire is to emphasize culture so we don’t have to have a lot of rules.

Objective:

The RESkids Campus Director makes RESkids the most exciting hour of the students’ week. They achieve this goal on their campus while following the RESkids strategies for gospel centrality and safety.

Qualifications:

• Submits to God and the authority of His Word and models a commitment to developing the character of Christ

• Loves to have fun with kids and leads others to do the same

• A healthy spiritual leader; biblically literate and gospel fluent

• Developing Developer: Commits to continual growth: spiritual, personal, professional, and invests in the growth of others

• Familiar with classroom structure and programming; prior experience in RESkids a plus

• Team Player: Welcomes feedback, contributes to building morale and connection amongst teams of people, and puts the success of the team above their own interests

• Committed to Covenantal Membership at Resonate Church

• Meets Ministry Safe requirements for serving with minors

Responsibilities:

• Is proactive in contextualizing the content and curriculum provided by RESkids Central Services in a way that makes RESkids the children’s favorite hour of the week, making them want to return with a friend!

• Collaborates with Central Services to provide parents with fun and exciting ways to lead family discipleship in the home.

• Understands and implements the GEM (Attract, Build, Connect, Develop, Evaluate) structure for RESkids on the Oakland campus.

• Schedules serve staff team for Oakland's weekly services

• Creatively and effectively oversees the discipleship of children in weekly programming and special events like camp, VBS, etc.

• Ensures that programming meets the standards as set by state regulations, Ministry Safe guidelines, etc.

• Finds creative solutions for people or situations that cause disruption to the ministry

• Manages budget for the RESkids Ministry on the Oakland Campus

• Is familiar with and uses the Resonate Campus Handbook and Resonate Culture Guide

Time Requirements*:

Sunday through Thursday: Total 25 hours
