Marriage Ministry | Who We Are

Welcome to our marriage ministry! Our marriage ministry was founded in 2013 with the goal of supporting and strengthening marriages within our community. We offer a variety of programs and resources designed to meet the unique needs of each couple, including lay counseling, retreats, and small group studies. Whether you're engaged, pre-engaged, newlyweds, or have been married for many years, we believe that investing in your marriage in one of the best things you can do for yourself, your spouse, and your family. We invte you to join us on this journey towards a more fulfilling and Christ-centered marriage!

Dee and Mike work together as a team to lead the marriage ministry. They have been married since 1987, and have been at Resonate since 2012. Dee is a professional counselor, and Mike is a software engineer and lay counselor. Through their own marriage struggles and receiving counseling, they developed a passion for helping couples build healthy relationships. Since 1995 they have led marriage ministry programs and counseled numerous couples. Through extensive research and trainings they have developed a comprehensive pre-marital/ marriage enrichment, Christ centered discipleship program.

Georgia and Ken have been married for over 40 years and have five adult children and five grandsons. They both have been involved in Marriage Ministry for over 20 years and have completed training in marriage coaching. Ken works as an engineering technical project manager and Georgia is an active grandmother and stock trader.

Georgia and Ken co-lead the Marriage Ministry with the Murphys with a focus on practical teaching and personal growth in response to the Gospel good news. They are committed to providing couples with practical tools and resources to help them strengten their relationship together and grow as disciples of Jesus.
