When looking at the Facets of the Gospel, and how beautiful and precious each angle is, one question stayed on our mind: How do we try to encapsulate such a doctrine that is as un-boxable as the angles of the Gospel? Like a diamond, the facets of the gospel help us to connect one truth to the next and yet are all distinguishable in their own right. For this reason, this album has been constructed using a musical idea, the Circle of Fifths, to help us audibly connect one truth to the next. There are 12 major keys, and so we have 12 songs on this record, each song leading up to the next through the Circle of Fifths, starting with G and ending with C. And distinguishable in their own right are the genres that we have chosen. This is an eclectic album; we are an eclectic people. The Gospel of Jesus is what unites us. Jesus is at the center of everything we do. The middle 4 songs are themed on Jesus’ life - He is the center of this album.
