In our consumer-driven culture, everyday desires like greed and materialism quietly become counterfeit gods that enslave our hearts and choke out spiritual life. The gospel invites us to a reformation of desire, turning to Jesus as the true source of satisfaction so we can freely enjoy God's gifts without being owned by them.
