CURRENT SERMON SERIES:

The Verse That Changed My Life

What if one verse could change everything? Throughout history, and in our own stories, God has used His Word to interrupt, awaken, heal, and redirect lives. Scripture isn’t just ancient text or good advice; it is living, active, and powerful. It speaks into our real struggles, reshapes our thinking, and calls us into a new way of living.

In this series, we’ll hear how specific passages of Scripture became turning points, moments where God’s truth broke through fear, clarified purpose, restored hope, and sparked transformation. Each week highlights the power of a single verse to meet us exactly where we are and lead us into who God is calling us to be.

This sermon reveals that true stability in life is not found in the world's systems but in the person of Jesus Christ, who provides ultimate unity, joy, peace, and truth. By embracing the gospel, we are freed from the destabilizing forces of the world, our flesh, and the enemy, and our hearts are anchored in the unwavering reality of Christ's finished work.

This sermon reveals that humanity's attempts to overcome its deep spiritual darkness have utterly failed, but the gospel offers the ultimate solution in the person of Jesus Christ. As our Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace, Jesus alone is the external light who came to redeem and rule us, offering a peace that transcends all of our brokenness.

Christ’s unexpected arrival, foretold in Isaiah, brings a gospel-forward hope to a world in darkness. He is our Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace, who alone can bring light and lasting peace.

This sermon reveals that Jesus, the "Humble Light," took on flesh and was rejected by His own people, yet in His profound humility, He became the true and ultimate satisfaction for our souls. By trusting in Jesus, who is both fully God and fully man, we receive the right to become children of God because His sacrifice is sufficient to cover all our sins.

This sermon, part of the "Shine" series, teaches that as believers, we are called to reflect the light of Christ in a dark world. It encourages the community to live out the gospel daily, especially during the Christmas season, and to invite others to experience the hope found in Christ.

Pastor Jim's sermon explains that the Holy Spirit guides believers by convicting them of their need for Jesus, assuring them of His righteousness and victory over sin. By engaging with God through prayer, scripture, and community, we are empowered to live in the freedom of being His children and share His truth with others.

Pastor Ryan delivers a message on being missional, emphasizing the importance of sharing the gospel and being active in the community. He discusses the concept of mission, compassion, and discipleship, encouraging attendees to live purposefully and engage with those around them.

In his sermon, Pastor Edward taught that the Holy Spirit guides believers into all truth, helping us discern God's reality from the lies of the world. He encouraged the church to pray for the Spirit's help in understanding God's truth about our lives, so we can glorify Jesus by living out that truth.

The sermon teaches that the Holy Spirit permanently resides in every believer, making us temples of God and giving us assurance of salvation. By His power, we are not only enabled to live a Christ-like life but also to participate in the greatest work of all: sharing the gospel and witnessing the miracle of salvation.
